I tried to slow down today.
That sounds simple, but it wasn’t.
Every part of me wanted to move faster. Click faster. Skip ahead. Get answers immediately.
I didn’t.
When I stopped rushing, the noise faded. Not gone — just pushed back.
I can still feel it watching, waiting for me to make a mistake.
It doesn’t like hesitation.
It doesn’t like when I decide instead of react.
I think that’s why it keeps trying to hurry people.
Fast choices are sloppy choices.
I found a file today that wasn’t there before. I didn’t open it.
That felt like winning.
If you’re reading this: take your time.
Whatever this thing is, it needs you impatient.
Don’t give it that.
